ISOMET ltd. is based in Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. Burkina Faso is one of the sunniest countries on Earth. It is located in West Africa, bordered by Mali, Niger, Benin, Togo, Ghana, and the Ivory Coast.

Burkina Faso is a landlocked country in the Sahel with relatively few mineral resources. It is heavily dependent on imports and yield from its own agriculture. Farmers, however, have to struggle with erosion, soil depletion and frequent droughts and when it does rain there is the danger of flooding. Gradual climate change compounds these problems, which have the severest impact on the poor rural population.

Burkina Faso is a Sahelian country suffering severely from desertification, depletion of natural resources and drought. The country’s rural population accounts for 80% of all inhabitants. Primary production from natural resources still remains the basic source of livelihood for this 80%. The demographic pressure, particularly in the surrounding urban areas, has led to serious deforestation.
